We are asked several times a day 'How much does a birthday cake cost?' or 'How much does a wedding cake cost?' and it really is a very tricky question to answer without getting in to lots of detail. Each of our cakes is designed individually to meet our customer's exact requirements and it's very rare for us to make the exact same cake twice so naturally each cake has a different price too.
The major factor affecting the price of your cake will be the amount of time it takes to create so, for instance, an 8" round cake with a large amount of sugar flower work would cost considerably more than a simple two tier polka dot cake with a bow on top despite it serving less portions. Other factors include the flavour of cake, use of advanced skills, any internal structure or specialist equipment required and so on. So, as you can see, it's rather complicated and the best thing really is to give us a call or pop in for a chat.
We do understand though that sometimes you want a 'ball park figure' so below is a very rough starting price guide for some of our most popular cake sizes and shapes
|8" round / 7" square||£70||£75|
|9" round / 8" square||£80||£85|
|10" round / 9" square||£90||£100|
|11" round / 10" square||£100||
|12" round / 11" square||£110||£130|
